As a newcomer to NYC with a bit of a lower budget, Lumen was a great choice for us. They are always readily accessible by phone, text, or email with prompt responses. We met a few times to pick out the furniture, and the designing service Lumen provides is great at narrowing down the choices from literally dozens of catalogues and hundreds of pages to best fit your needs. They also came and measured the apartment to make sure the furniture would fit. The best part is that they did everything for a wrap fee. Transporting the furniture, moving it to your apartment, assembling it, and cleaning afterwards were services that were done in a professional and timely fashion, and the best part is that they were able to do it while I was at work (which may be a difficulty for people just starting their careers in the city). Top-notch service, and they were very accommodating of my schedule and situation. You really need to look no further to find the best way to move in the city. Highly recommended.”
